‘Instal waste water disposal system before construction’ - Newindpress- About: DrainageNews

In its last meeting, the development authority has decided to put in place a plan for joint inspection of drainage, sewerage and access development of buildings - mostly tall ones - before the actual construction work begins. The decision was taken after the urban local body pointed out that most of the builders have sewerage, drainage and access route plans intact in their building plans for multistorey apartments but when it comes to actually developing the facilities, they shy away. The last authority meeting of BDA decided that all the pending cases - for S+3, taller buildings and multi-storied ones - would be inspected by a joint team of BDA and BMC. In fact, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik earlier had strongly recommended the installation of drainage and sewerage facilities by builders before actual construction of the buildings could start. read me
