DrainageNews - Cleaner Water Flowing Into Clear Creek - Kitsap Sun (Subscription)

Property owners throughout Silverdale were informed of the ties between stormwater and water quality in Clear Creek, Fohn said. Kitsap County Consolidated Housing Authority, which acquired the old Poplars motel, constructed two "landscape islands" â" also known as "rain gardens" â" in the parking lot following conversion of the 50 motel units to 32 low-income senior apartments. Presenters are Mindy Fohn, Kitsap County Health District; Jayna Ericson, Kitsap County Public Works; Art Castle, Home Builders Association of Kitsap County. read me
