D= 2 m

from chart 27.3 Q/N = 11, N=1

Therefore peak discharge Q = 11m3/s

pipe diameter,D = 2m
say HW = 3m
HW/D = 3/2 = 1.5m
backplot design chart 27.3 from HW/D to D and it will intersect at Q/N = 11 m3/s
and N = 1
answer : Q = 11 m3/s
