Old Naples resident wants city to improve drainage, threatens suit - Naples Daily News- Topic: DrainageNews

An Old Naples resident has put City Hall on notice that she might sue over the way the city operates and maintains its drainage system. A letter from an attorney representing Gulf Shore Boulevard South homeowner Toni Tuttle also raises concerns about the cityâs plan to install sidewalks in the cityâs older neighborhoods, including in front of Tuttleâs home. Money for sidewalks would be better spent improving the drainage system, he wrote. As for the sidewalk and bicycle path plan, consultants Kimley-Horn and Associates of Tallahassee estimate the 10-year plan will cost $3. Taylor said Friday that she hopes the review of the plan Monday will give the City Council a chance to rethink its earlier decision. read me
