5 New Area Superintendents Appointed to the San Diego Schools
In June 2006, Superintendent Carl Cohn chose 5 new place superintendents for the San Diego Schools.

Dr. Richard Cansdale is the area 3 superintendent. Previously, Cansdale was the principal at Cherokee Point Elementary School in the San Diego Schools.
He made an MA in scholastic administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in main education from San Francisco State University. Prior to his see, Matthews was an instructor in home for the NewSchools Venture Fund in San Francisco.
